LOL about contacts. I had a fiance who felt the same way about contacts or having anything in her eyes, including those eye exams. I told her she was a weenie (hahahaha).

Listen, I think addiction is addiction is addiction. Look at how many 12-step programs there are for all kinds of things, not just alcohol. Might be worth it to study that instead of the disease/allergy of alcoholism. I started when I was 15, and other than the fact it gave me courage I didn't have without it, I have an addictive personality. After 40 years, I probably still do. I just don't feed it with alcohol or drugs. You also need to talk with people who go out again and see if it was a craving. I guarantee of all the people I've known who did that again, it wasn't a craving. It was the stress of something going on in their life and they said "fuck it" and went back out. Their programs were usually weak, too.

With the Asian & Native American thing. Those are 2 cultures that are the most into each other. I did see quite a few of them in California, but not nearly as much as existed in the area. They keep to themselves, and maybe they even have meetings that are Asian or Native American only. NA's have a huge problem with alcoholism. That's a known fact. Probably Asians too, but they're just tighter together and aren't as open about a great many things as the other cultures in this country. Europeans brought their drunk asses over here, their liquor with them, but addictive people don't care what kind of alcohol it is. LOL Allergy, my butt. Even if I was tested for an alcohol allergy, I would've still been an alcoholic/drug addict regardless.

Just my 2 cents from the peanut gallery. Hahahahaha
